Bible Study


At Leawood, our main Bible Study time is on Sunday mornings. We have adopted our purpose statement for Sunday School from Ken Hemphill’s book “Ten Best Practices: “Sunday school is the foundational strategy in a local church for leading people to faith in the Lord Jesus Christ and for building on-mission Christians through open Bible study groups that engage people in evangelism, discipleship, ministry, fellowship, and worship.”


There are classes for all age groups of adults from College age through senior adults. Each age group department is unique and designed to meet the spiritual, physical and emotional needs of the participants.

Discipleship

Various courses are offered through the year to provide the opportunity for adults who desire to grow deeper in their walk with the Lord. Most classes are offered during the fall and winter.
